Payment Solutions – Customer Service Representative (French + English)

Location:

Lisbon, Portugal – On-site

Contract Type:

CDD – 6 months

Working Schedule:

  • Monday to Sunday – 24/7 rotational shifts, including night shifts
  • Days Off: 2 rotational days

Role Overview:

As a Payment Solutions Customer Service Representative, you will support customers using digital and online payment solutions within the French-speaking market. You will handle customer inquiries related to payments, transactions, account issues, and platform usage while delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service in a regulated and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support via phone, email, and chat in French and English
  • Handle inquiries related to payment solutions, transactions, and account management
  • Troubleshoot issues such as failed payments, refunds, chargebacks, and billing questions
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and internal procedures
  • Deliver accurate and timely resolutions while meeting KPIs and SLAs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case documentation in CRM systems
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases according to internal guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient issue resolution

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Fluent French (native or near-native)
  • Solid C1 level of English,
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Service
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, including night shifts
  • Comfortable working on-site in Lisbon

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in payments, fintech, banking, or e-commerce environments
  • Familiarity with online payment platforms or digital wallets
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Previous contact center experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: 900€ (paid over 14 months)
  • Complexity Bonus: 100€ (paid over 11 months)
