Search Engine / Technical Customer Service Representative (German + English)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Work Model: On-site
Start Date: 8 January 2026
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (CDD – 6 months)

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM (Rotational shifts)
  • Saturday & Sunday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Days Off: 2 rotational days off per week

Role Overview

We are looking for a German-speaking Search Engine / Technical Customer Service Representative to support users of a global search engine and digital services platform. In this role, you will assist customers with technical and account-related inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high-quality support experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and customer support via phone, email, and/or chat in German and English
  • Assist users with search engine tools, account settings, and technical troubleshooting
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to digital services
  • Accurately document customer interactions and solutions in internal systems
  • Follow internal guidelines, procedures, and quality standards
  • Meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction KPIs
  • Escalate complex technical issues to specialized support teams when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical and operations teams

Requirements

  • Fluent German (C1 or native level)
  • Good command of English for internal communication
  • Previous experience in customer service or technical support is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
  • EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Portugal

Languages Supported

This project supports multiple markets, including French, Italian, German, and Dutch.
German + English are mandatory for this role.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: €1,100 (paid over 14 months)
  • Performance Bonus: €135 (paid over 12 months)
